This combination continuity tester flashlight instantly test if the surface of an item is conductive. If the surface is conductive the light will instantly go on. 

This tester can also be use this to see If a metal item has a clear coat. Clear coats are very common on jewelry items, Emblems, and hardware. When testing the item with a clear coat the light will not turn on. They will need to be removed prior to using our equipment for plating.
