Additive N - Wood's Nickel Strike Concentrate for International Customers

"Additive N" is the base make-up component in fabricating Wood's Nickel Strike.  Due to restrictions on shipping hydrochloric acid internationally, we cannot send Wood's Nickel Strike as a ready-to-use solution.  Fortunately, Additive N can easily be used to make Wood's Nickel Strike Solution by following the instructions included with your purchase.

To make a ready-to-use Wood's Nickel Strike you will need:
-Additive N
-Hydrochloric Acid (or Muriatic Acid)
-Distilled Water (or de-ionized)

Wood's Nickel Strike
is used as an activator for steel, stainless steel, and high chromium content alloys prior to gold plating.

You must first electro-clean the piece until it wets out and then activate using the Wood's Nickel Strike in order to ensure adhesion.

We recommend using this solution with a pure nickel anode.

Check out our Plating Procedure Chart for details about our products and how to use them.
